Harry Potter Deathly Hallows 2 Movie - Deathly Hallows Sequel

Warner Bros have announced that the movie sequel to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, aka the Deathly Hallows Part 2, will be released on July 15, 2011. The two parts of the Deathly Hallows have been shot back to back, but the studios prefer to space the releases in order to maximize profits. It's not like we'd have to wait one more year, just 7 months between Part 1 and Part 2, but still dying of impatience here...

The split between the two films has also been revealed: the first film is set to end at about Chapter 24 of J.K. Rowling's book, with Voldemort gaining possession of the Elder Wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows that allow the bearer to conquer death. So the Deathly Hallows 2 will focus on the final battle for Hogwarts and what happens next.
